Scott-I-Am

Say…

I will test my sugar. Scott’s-my-name!
Just watch!  I’ll do it! Without shame!

And I would test it in a boat!
And at the zoo, next to a goat.
And I will test it on a plane.
And at my desk. And on a train.
And in a car; In a church pew.
It’s something I just have to do!

So I will test, not being rude.
Standing in line for some fast food.
And I will test it in the loo,
Or walking down Sixth Avenue.
And I will test it here and there.
Say! I will test it ANYWHERE!

I do not like
To hide my “D”.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Scott-is-Me.

Yes, I have tested in all of these places and situations … without shame.

Words and rhythm are a tribute to the legendary author Dr. Seuss, who would have turned 110 years old today. Happy Birthday!

  4. Would you do it on a stage? Would you do it in a cage?
Would you do it in a car? Would you do it at a bar?

    • I suppose it depends on the venue of the stage. If I were conducting an orchestral performance of the Star-Spangled Banner, I’d try to wait until the anthem was completed.

It’s hard to imagine any reason I’d be in a cage to begin with. If I’m being held captive, sure – there’s not much other alternative. But if I’m in an Atlasphere, I’d risk being disqualified as an American Gladiator, which is my lifelong ambition. So in that case, no.

Yes, unless I was riding the bumper cars – that could be dangerous. But in that case, the effects of driving-while-hypoglycemic are perfectly acceptable.

Of course. It’s the lead-in to my foolproof pick-up line…
