In memoriam

I hate this kind of news.  I don’t know of the circumstances, but it doesn’t much matter anyway. Elizabeth is one of us.

I’ll say very little, as I want to be respectful and don’t want to exploit tragedy for the sake of blog page views. Yet I feel the need to acknowledge this in some way, somehow.

I can’t wait until the day comes when we no longer have a need to burn a blue candle.

My heart goes out to all her loved ones: her family, friends, the entire DOC, and to Jeff – her love and inspiration.

Someone please pass the Kleenex.
